Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. General Information and Acceptance of Terms

This document sets forth the terms and conditions under which you may use the web platform Online Invitations (accessible through the current domain).

The platform is operated by -, Tax ID/VAT -, Trade Register Number -, with registered office at - (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider" or "We").

By creating an account, accessing, or using any feature of the platform, you (hereinafter referred to as the "User" or "Client") declare that you have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Service Description

Online Invitations provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) digital services dedicated to the organization of private events (weddings, baptisms, anniversaries, corporate parties, etc.), including:

  • Creation, editing, and customization of interactive digital invitations based on various graphic themes;
  • Generation of unique, personalized links for each guest;
  • Collection, monitoring, and export of RSVP attendance confirmations in real time;
  • Interactive visual seating chart module and guest table allocation;
  • Sending notifications, event calendar integration (.ics), and background music playback.

The user enjoys free access to the platform to create, configure, and preview the invitation in detail. Final activation and delivery to guests is subject to a fee, in accordance with the displayed pricing.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use the services, you must create a user account by providing accurate, truthful, and complete information (first name, last name, valid email address, and phone number).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out through your account. In the event of any suspected unauthorized access, you are required to immediately notify the Provider via the support form or at [email protected].

4. Pricing, Invoicing, and Payment Processing (Paddle)

The standard fee for full event activation is 30 EUR (30 euros), representing a one-time fee per event, with no hidden subscriptions or unsolicited recurring charges.

Merchant of Record (Paddle): All payments made on our platform are processed with full security by our international partner Paddle.com Market Limited (or its affiliates, collectively "Paddle"), who acts as Merchant of Record for all our transactions.

Paddle manages payment collection, calculation and remittance of applicable taxes (such as VAT), issuance of invoices directly to the Customer, and compliance with PCI-DSS standards. By completing your order, you accept the terms and conditions of sale provided by Paddle at checkout.

5. Delivery and Refund Policy

As these are digital products and services delivered instantly over the internet, event activation occurs automatically immediately upon payment confirmation by processor Paddle.

Detailed rules on the exercise of the right of withdrawal and refund conditions are set out in the Refund Policy. In brief, in accordance with applicable legislation, once the service has been activated and delivered at the user's express request, the legal right of withdrawal ceases, while a full refund remains guaranteed if the service fails to operate due to technical causes attributable to the platform.

6. Data Retention Period and Automatic Deletion

By using the platform, the User explicitly acknowledges and agrees to the data retention policy described below. The platform automatically applies both rules below without requiring any further action from the User or the Provider.

Rule 1 — Deletion 30 days after the event date

If the calendar date of the event (configured in the invitation) has passed, the event is considered concluded and is automatically locked for editing. 30 days after the event date, all associated data (guests, RSVP confirmations, photos, schedule, tables, transactions) is permanently and irretrievably deleted from our systems.

Rule 2 — Deletion 1 year after event creation

Regardless of the event date, any event created on the platform will be automatically deleted 1 year (365 days) from its creation date. 30 days prior to this date, the event enters a locked (read-only) state — the User can no longer make modifications, but data remains viewable until actual deletion.

The applicable rule is whichever occurs first

If one of the two rules above triggers before the other (for example, the event date is in the future, but the 1-year limit from creation has been reached), the rule with the shorter period applies. The platform does not offer event extensions or archiving beyond the specified terms.

The User is solely responsible for exporting or locally saving any data (guest list, RSVP confirmations, photos, etc.) before the expiration of the aforementioned deadlines. The Provider cannot be held liable for data loss resulting from the enforcement of this retention policy accepted by the User.

7. Platform Limits and Rules

By using the platform, the User explicitly accepts the following technical and policy limitations of the service:

Photo gallery limit — maximum 5 photos per event

Each event may contain a maximum of 5 (five) photos in the integrated visual gallery. Photos are automatically compressed and stored on platform infrastructure. Exceeding this limit is not possible through the interface — the system will reject any additional uploads. The User is responsible for selecting relevant photos within the allowed limit.

Unactivated events limit — maximum 1 per account

An account may have a maximum of 1 (one) unactivated event (in free planning mode) at any given time. If an unactivated event already exists, creating a new event is automatically blocked by the system. To create a new event, the User must activate the existing one (by paying the 30 EUR fee) or delete it permanently.

Manual event deletion

The User may delete an event at any time from the edit panel using the delete button followed by explicit confirmation. Deletion is irreversible — all associated data (guests, RSVP confirmations, photos, schedule, tables) is permanently removed. If the event was already activated (paid), the activation fee is non-refundable upon voluntary deletion by the User, in accordance with the Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the platform (structure, source code, visual design, graphic themes, illustrations, text, and branding elements) represents the exclusive property of the Provider and is protected by copyright law.

The User retains full ownership rights over the photos, text, and personal data they upload to the platform for creating and personalizing invitations.

9. Permitted Use and Restrictions

It is strictly prohibited to use the platform for:

  • Uploading illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or discriminatory content;
  • Sending unsolicited messages (SPAM) using the platform’s notification features;
  • Attempts at unauthorized access, denial-of-service attacks, or reverse engineering of the platform’s code;
  • Reselling or sublicensing access to the platform without the prior written consent of the Provider.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Provider makes every reasonable effort to keep the platform available at all times (uptime > 99%) and operating optimally. However, the service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We shall not be liable for temporary interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance, outages of telecommunications providers or cloud servers (hosting/CDN), or events of force majeure.

11. Applicable Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania and the European Union. Any dispute shall be settled amicably or, if unresolved, submitted to the competent courts of Romania.
